Tablets Change Shopping, Media Habits

The spread of tablets and smartphones has led Americans to change their shopping and media consumption habits, according to a survey of 9,600 consumers conducted by mobile ad network InMobi and Mobext. Among the findings: 29 percent of tablet owners say they no longer surf the Web on the computer or laptop, and 22 percent claim that they shop less frequently in brick-and-mortar stores since buying a tablet.
